The Fred.Olsen Express Transgrancanaria Bike has secured a new sponsor for its next three editions: 226ERS, a leading company in sports supplementation. The brand joins the cycling event, now in its ninth edition, held between May 16th and 19th, 2024, which, for the second consecutive year, is part of the UCI calendar in the S2 category.
With this agreement, cyclists will receive a branded water bottle as a gift and will have access to top-quality sports supplementation products at the supply points during the four stages of the Gran Canaria event.
According to Carlos González, Fred.Olsen Express Transgrancanaria Bike director, the addition of 226ERS as a sponsor means adding a “leading” firm in the sports nutrition sector. “Cyclists will have differential products that will allow them to recover from the effort of the routes designed by the organization.”
226ERS is a company founded in the town of Alcoy, Alicante, which has been fueling the dreams of endurance sports and outdoor enthusiasts for over ten years. Currently, they offer specific products for vegans that cover many nutritional aspects, and all their products are gluten-free, suitable for celiacs, and free of genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
