The Fred. Olsen Express Transgrancanaria Bike is one of the events included in the schedule of the Big Events of Gran Canaria, promoted by the Sports Board of the island’s council. It is an internationally recognized race, part of the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) calendar for the past three years, and has established itself as one of the leading mountain bike races in the Canary Islands.
Throughout its ten editions, the Transgrancanaria Bike has crossed various municipalities of Gran Canaria, allowing participants to discover the beauty and secrets of the island’s most spectacular spots. Currently, the race consists of four open stages, all centered in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. Participants can choose to register for one, two, three, or all four competitive stages.
