The Fred. Olsen Express Transgrancanaria Bike 2021 starts on April 22nd with the opening of registrations

The event will celebrate its sixth edition on the weekend of November 6-7, repeating the classic two-stage format.

One of the most special mountain bike races in the Canary Islands is back! The Fred. Olsen Transgrancanaria Bike will make six editions in November 2021, month in which it wants to settle after the good results of 2020. The original format of the event, divided into two stages and with four different races, adapts to the abilities and tastes of mountain bike lovers from all over the world.

Everything is ready for the first registration period to begin next April 22nd, through the official website of the event. As always, the first entries will have a significant discount: the first 400 bibs will be discounted up to 60 € in the longest modality.

The race will be divided into two days and four different races. The main event will be the Two Stages, with a first stage of 40 kilometers from Artenara to Los Llanos De la Pez, an overnight stay at the lodge of El Garañón and a second stage from the summit to the finish line in Maspalomas. The Intense race will coincide with these last 80 kilometers, while the Ansite race will be 50 kilometers starting in Santa Lucía de Tirajana. This one will shares the route with the E-Bike, aimed at those electric bike lovers who want to share the experience of the Fred. Olsen Express Transgrancanaria Bike.

As in previous editions, all enrolled participants will receive a personalized race maillot before the race. In addition, some services can be hired during the form, such as a stay at El Garañón, a race culotte or a GPS tracking service to locate the participant at any time.

The event is sponsored by Fred. Olsen Express, which once again this year will offer discounts for the transfer of participants moving between islands for the race.
