The eleventh edition of the race debuts a high-performance kit inspired by the colors of the Canarian flag

The UCI S2 category competition will take place from May 14 to 17 with a renewed route

The Fred. Olsen Express Transgrancanaria Bike is gearing up for its 2026 edition with the presentation of its official jersey. The prestigious Spanish brand Gobik returns as the manufacturer of a garment that blends identity and technology, featuring the characteristic colors of the Canarian flag. The jersey has been designed to offer maximum aerodynamic performance during the demanding mountain stages through the south and east of the island.

The new design not only pays tribute to the archipelago but also incorporates the most advanced technology in competitive cycling. Thanks to the use of cutting-edge fabrics that promote thermoregulation and aerodynamics, participants will be able to ride more comfortably in this race, which awards points for the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) ranking. As the event’s technical collaborator, Gobik brings its expertise in high-end equipment with this exclusive jersey, which will be included in the runner’s bag for all categories.

Open Registrations and New “Half” Category

The unveiling of the kit comes at a key moment, as registrations remain open on the official website www.transgrancanariabike.com. The organization maintains special prices for Canary Islands residents and offers great participation flexibility: from the All Stages modality to the innovative Half category, as well as individual stages or three-day and weekend packages.

This year’s major novelty, the Half modality, consists of four days of competition totaling 103 kilometers. It is designed for cyclists seeking the Transgrancanaria challenge in a more accessible format without missing out on the full four-day event experience.MAILLOT PNG

A Journey Through the Heart of Gran Canaria The Fred. Olsen Express Transgrancanaria Bike 2026 will be held between May 14 and 17 with a renewed four-stage route. By maintaining its UCI S2 category, the race allows the top 25 finishers to earn points for the world ranking, attracting the international MTB elite.

The 2026 edition will feature a revamped roadbook leading participants through unique natural landscapes. The event will kick off with the technical challenge of the Lomo Magullo volcanic circuit in the first stage, followed by the spectacular time trial climb between Maspalomas and Ayagaures. The third day will center around Cañón del Águila, before culminating in the Queen Stage. This final day will cross the Cuarterías area in a nearly 70-kilometer route that will test the endurance of this year’s cyclists.
